Dr. Lori Hill was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. After high school she attended college as a pre-med student. She soon decided that working with animals lined up more with who she was. She began her career as a mixed animal practitioner for the first 10 years of practice. After having children, she decided to work only on small animals and has been very happy with that decision for the last 15 years.
Dr. Hill is married to Scott, Dove Creek’s very own Jack of All Trades. They have two children, Ryan who is attending Texas A&M University, and Karli who attends Guyer High School. They have a rescued pup named Snickerdoodle and a perfect black cat named Grasshopper. Dr. Hill is an avid reader and most enjoys watching her daughter play volleyball and early morning coffee drinking with her son.
Dr. Gabrielle Pagano was born and raised in Lewisville, Texas where she graduated as a Fighting Farmer. She joined the Dove Creek Family in 2019. She studied at the University of North Texas graduating with a B.A. in Biology.
Her and husband then headed up north to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2017. She currently lives in Little Elm with her high school sweetheart, Tyler and her small herd of dachshunds (Maggie, Oscar, Klaus and Frank). Her favorite hobbies include yoga and thrift shopping.
Traci was born in Waukegun, Illinios but grew up in Rockport, Texas. She currently resides north of Denton with her husband, two amazing children, a new rescue pup named Fiona and their sweet cat Knox.
Traci has always been interested in working with animals and would hang out at her local veterinary clinic as a child to learn everything she could. Her career began 7 years ago as a kennel technician and she is now the Lead Veterinary Technician here at Dove Creek. Traci loves hanging out with her family and telling “dad jokes”. For example: What kind of shorts do clouds wear? Thunderwear!
Allye was born and raised in Hurst, Texas. She has always loved animals and knew she wanted to find a place where she would be around them at all times. Allye has the biggest heart for every cat and kitten that comes through our doors.
She presently does not have any pets but every time a kitten pops in who needs adopting, we give it to her to love on, we are super close to getting one home with her! She is an avid reader, gamer, and an amazing artist. Even though Allye works in a small animal clinic where she hangs with dogs and cats all day her favorite animals are buffalos, alligators, and bats.
Heather is originally from Kansas but grew up in Denton with her 4 sisters. Heather’s journey to veterinary medicine is a surprising one. She worked 10+ years in Aviation before deciding she needed a change. That is when Dove Creek gained an amazing individual, Heather has become the face of the front and is well loved by longtime clients.
Over the years at Dove Creek, she has also become skilled in technical veterinary medicine as well. She currently lives with her husband Scott and their two little dogs, Sassy and Bella. Heather’s favorite pastimes are camping, boating, gardening, and spending time with her family. She has two children, Alexis and Justin, a sweet grandchild named Brodie and grandbaby number two is on its way!
Elin grew up in South Bend, IN but has lived in several states over the years. She has always had a love for animals and been passionate about their care. When she began her career in the veterinary field it just made sense! She lives with her husband Caleb and their two fur babies Momo, a beagle mix and Bowie a Sharpei mix. Elin loves reading, writing, playing music and the outdoors.
Lauren was born in Sacramento, California. She spent her childhood moving around and has lived in four different states! Lauren has always had a soft spot for animals, but it wasn’t till March of 2019, that she really started to pursue that passion as a potential career; her goal is to become a Veterinary Technician.
Lauren and her husband have a sweet dog named Charlie and a beautiful cat named Tinker Bell. When Lauren was in high school theatre, she learned that she had a knack for special effects makeup, which she still enjoys doing from time to time, although nothing brings her more joy than spending time with family and her fur babies!
Randall was born and raised in Flower Mound, Texas. He grew up always having animals which led him to go into a demanding veterinary technician program at his college in Louisiana.
Randall began interning at Dove Creek while still in school and upon graduation he stayed on as a full-time veterinary technician. He will be taking his technician certification boards in 2021. Randall has two dogs, Chupa and Luna, two cats, Penny and Lila and several fish.
Jessica is a local who grew up in Plano, Texas but now lives in Corinth with her partner in life James and their two kiddos, Landon and Kinley. The family also has two sweet as pie goldendoodles named Shadow and Radar. In her spare time Jessica enjoys attending her son’s football games, watching her little girl cheer and letting the dogs romp around at the dog park.
Working at Dove Creek has been very rewarding for Jessica, being able to see so many animals on their wellness journeys. She is also currently studying to be a human labor and delivery nurse and dreams of having a herd of alpacas and goats someday.
Evelin was born in Dallas, Texas but grew up right here in Denton. She started at Dove Creek as a high school student through a pre-veterinary class she was taking. When the class was over Evelin realized she wanted to pursue a career in the veterinary field and stayed on as an employee.
Now that she is in college, her plan is to apply to veterinary school when she graduates. Evelin currently has no pets which is why she considers each dog and cat boarder as her own.
Cindy was born in Bloomfield, Iowa and moved to Texas at the age of 4 years old. Cindy grew up always having animals. When she was 12, she began working around horses and eventually learned to ride and care for them on her own. Cindy then turned her passion for horses into a career where she trains, breaks, and shows them.
Through this work she also began helping a local veterinarian with vaccines and basic wound care of other animals which led to her first job in veterinary medicine. Cindy has been in a veterinary technician role ever since. She currently has a beautiful 33-year-old mare and 7 perfect cats. Cindy is our very own cat whisperer, and we are so blessed to have her.
Ashton is a true Texas native and claims Lewisville as her hometown. At 16 years old she began working in a grooming facility where she worked her way up to become a groomer. Ashton knew she wanted to work with pets as a career but wanted something more. At age 18 she took her first job as a veterinary technician where she has been for over 10 years.
Her plethora of experience and knowledge pushes her to be the best for her patients every single day. As a veterinary technician she finds it rewarding to watch the healing process through ever changing and growing medicine and procedures. She is mother to a sweet boy named Anakin and in her free time she stays outside barefoot tending to her garden. Ashton’s favorite animals include Chihuahuas and butterflies.
